Listings come from the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI) plumbing license export (DLI license and registration lookup), downloaded November 4, 2026. DLI says the file is updated nightly.

DLI's disclaimer page says the information on its website is in the public domain and asks for source attribution. This site is not run by, affiliated with or endorsed by DLI or the State of Minnesota.

What is listed

A business is listed if DLI shows it with a Plumbing Contractor license with status "Issued", a Minnesota address, an expiry date that has not passed, and a phone number. Restricted plumbing contractors, registered plumbing employers and pipelaying bonds are not listed. In the contractor listings a sole proprietor appears under its business (trade) name only. Individuals who hold a master or restricted master plumber license (issued, unexpired, with a phone number) are listed separately on the master plumbers pages, with name, city, phone, license number and expiry; journeyworker and unlicensed-registered plumbers are not listed. No street addresses or PO boxes are published for anyone: city and phone only.

Website links appear only where a site was opened on November 5, 2026 and either showed the contractor's own phone number or matched the business name, city and Minnesota and was checked by hand. A missing link does not mean the business has no website.

This build lists 1441 businesses. DLI rows dropped, by reason: excluded by list 26, expired date 4, ind: listed 3239, ind: no city 1, ind: no phone 169, ind: not issued or not MN 616, no phone 7, not plumbing contractor business 34927, out of state 135, status not Issued 516 (of 37056 rows in the plumbing file).
